Key Differences

The documented shell dimensions are the same, but SUPERLIGHT 2 changes to HERO 2, LIGHTFORCE and USB-C, with current support documenting up to 8K. The original model records HERO 25K, 1K and Micro-USB. Original weight remains unknown because official less-than and rounded figures conflict.

Shape & Size

Compare the exact dimensions in the table with a mouse you already know. Width and height do not determine comfort by themselves; the grip and hand-size research below explains the contact differences.

Weight, Sensor & Polling

The table preserves unknown fields and manufacturer reporting limits. Weight conventions, firmware and optional receivers can differ. Neither a larger DPI maximum nor a higher polling ceiling establishes lower measured latency or better aim.

Choose PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 If…

Choose this model if USB-C charging, the newer switch platform and configurable higher polling address a specific need. A larger DPI ceiling alone does not establish a noticeable upgrade for your settings.

Choose PRO X SUPERLIGHT If…

Choose this model if you already prefer the original shape and do not need a newer charging connector or higher report rate. Check current availability and condition; an older model is not automatically a good-value purchase.

Price Positioning

No live selling price or value winner is established here. Historical MSRP, when verified, is labelled separately in the table. Compare current new-product checkout costs, optional receivers and shipping before deciding; merchant links and commissions do not affect these conclusions.

Grip, Hand Size & Gaming Use

PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2

Grip

The public RTINGS assessment supports considering several grip types with the SUPERLIGHT 2's rounded symmetrical shape. Palm support, claw contact and fingertip clearance still depend on individual hand dimensions and technique. Compare that rounded profile against the lower-feeling Viper V3 Pro and the sloped DeathAdder rather than converting a general ergonomic assessment into an exact grip rating.

Hand Size

RTINGS reports a broadly accommodating shape rather than one narrow hand-size target. Logitech's documented 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm dimensions give a useful reference against a mouse you already know. They cannot determine finger reach or palm contact on their own. Small, medium and large hand scores remain unknown because a numerical fit assessment has not been established for PeriphPick.

Gaming Use

The five-button arrangement is most straightforward for competitive FPS play with keyboard-led utility and weapon bindings. MOBA use is possible with the same division of controls. MMO suitability depends on how much of your action bar you expect to place on the mouse; a purpose-built twelve-button side panel serves a different requirement.

Connection & Battery Conditions

LIGHTSPEED requires a USB receiver; Bluetooth is not supported. The USB-C cable handles charging and data. Logitech advertises up to 95 hours of constant motion without a verified 8K-specific runtime here, so higher-rate battery planning should remain conservative. Use current G HUB and firmware when checking the supported report-rate options.

PRO X SUPERLIGHT

Grip

The rounded symmetrical body is a potential palm or claw comparison point. Fingertip use deserves extra attention for small hands because the independent review flags side-control reach. No comfort score is derived automatically from the 40 mm shell height.

Hand Size

RTINGS discusses broad size accommodation with a specific small-hand fingertip reach caveat. That combination supports conditional guidance, not identical ratings for every hand size. The side-button location is part of fit, not just the main shell length.

Gaming Use

Aiming-focused shooters and keyboard-led general gaming match the limited control count. The documented 1K ceiling remains distinct from newer high-rate versions. Dense MMO commands require an alternative layout rather than treating G-Shift layers as additional physical buttons.

Connection & Battery Conditions

LIGHTSPEED uses a USB receiver; RTINGS confirms wired operation and no Bluetooth. Charging is Micro-USB. The retained 70-hour constant-motion figure is a manufacturer maximum, not a new independent runtime measurement or a specification transferred from SUPERLIGHT 2.

Reading the differences

Dimensions, weight, sensor names and maximum specifications describe products. They do not establish an overall winner. Hand and grip assessments need research context. No hands-on testing is implied.
